Summary |
Since 1975, over a quarter of a million kids from Venezuela's most violent and poor neighbourhoods have had the opportunity to spend time intensively studying classical music. They are part of a radical social project in which children and teenagers, often living in unthinkable circumstances, are given the chance to change their lives through music. This program follows a small group of the students over five years to see how they fare - from their first lessons to concerts around the world with famous conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Simon Rattle and Lorin Maazel.
