Summary |
Tough, determined and capable, Georgia Perry has long dreamed of joining the elite ranks of those who have sailed solo around the world. Yet, the confidence of her demeanour belies the insecurities by which she is plagued. A childhood marred by tragedy has left emotional scars that threaten to resurface under the rigours of such an endeavor. Alone on her 38 foot yacht Leander, save for her cat Taco, her one link to the outside world is a two way radio. On the homeward stretch of her solo voyage, her yacht is becalmed and immersed in dense fog in the Indian Ocean. Several days pass and strange occurrences begin. Deprived of sleep, Georgia's nerves are stretched to breaking point. With no breeze to fill her sails and without the comforting rhythm of day into night, she drifts in fog and her fatasies, demons, frears and phobias start to visit... and once your let one visitor on baord .... the rest will follow...
