Summary
International research suggests that children and young people with a disability are more likely to be bullied than children and young people without a disability. This report investigates this issue in Australia. Surveys were conducted with 158 children in the Australian Capital Territory, aged 10-12 years old, regarding their understandings of bullying and disability, the characteristics of students who are bullied, and how bullying might be prevented. The report is illustrated with the comments and pictures of the participants
