|
Summary |
This case study demonstrates the use of content analysis to examine online artifacts, specifically images of men's Halloween costumes. Using a grounded theory research approach, this case study moves through the steps in a content analysis research process-literature review, methodology, sampling, findings, analysis, and writing a research paper-to show how a theory about gender performance, masculinity in particular, emerges from the data. Particular attention is given to digitally produced online images circulating throughout a global mediascape |
