The 2016 Graduate Exhibition, Sensory Narratives, presented a significant body of outstanding work from 30 graduating Bachelor of Visual Art [Honours] and Bachelor of Visual Art students, the School's largest cohort to date. More than 330 works, ranging from paintings, drawings, sculpture, mixed media works, installation works, textiles, film, sound and photography, combined to engage the senses. Some works invited touch; others incorporated smell; some were immersive and experiential; and others invited deep contemplation. All works represented a cohort of exciting, engaged emerging artists who are curious about the world and equipped with skills to embark on careers as professional practising artists.--Publisher's description |
