Notes Anatoly Bezkorovainy, Ph. D., is Professor of Biochemistry at the Rush-Presbyterian- St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Chicago in 1956 and the Ph. D. in 1960 from the University of Illinois. His postdoctoral work was done at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tennessee and the National Animal Disease Laboratory in Ames, Iowa. Dr. Bezkorovainy has authored or co-authored a biochemistry text and monographs on protein chemistry and the biochemistry of iron. His research publications have dealt with mammalian and microbial iron metabolism and with the biochemistry of human and bovine milks. Dr. Bezkorovainy is a member of the American Chemical Society, American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, American Institute of Nutrition, American Dairy Science Association, and the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. Robin Miller-Catchpole, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Pathology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center. She received her B.A. degree from Carleton College and a combined M.D., M.S. degree from the University of Illinois Medical College, Chicago. Following an internship at the University of Chicago and a Pearl Stetler Fellowship in Biochemistry/Pathology at the University of Illinois/Rush Medical School, she returned to the University of Chicago to complete a Pathology residency and a Microbiology FelƠ lowship. She currently holds positions as Associate Director of Microbiology, Evanston Hospital, Evanston, Illinois and Senior Scientist in the Division of Health Care Technology of the American Medical Association
