Summary This new four part series follows three young people as they set off on a journey of self-discovery that will challenge them to find their own road in life. Desperate to make a difference Brynn, 25, is a corporate lawyer in a top city firm who feels trapped. Bruce, 20, studies Arts/Law, and is a recent migrant from Zimbabwe who loves the performing arts, but feels an obligation to support his family. Kay, 20, is struggling with business studies and under pressure from her Chinese-Timorese migrant family to succeed. The trio hits the road in a bright green campervan, to interview their chosen mentors. Over five weeks, the road trippers travel thousands of kilometres from tropical Stradbroke Island down the east coast to Melbourne, Adelaide and finally through the desert until they arrive at the spiritual centre of the nation, Uluru. Episode one sees the road-trippers meeting former music executive Marylou Badeaux; male to female transgender woman Amanda Dean; and the other Tim Winton, a project manager in sustainable forestry and organic agriculture.
