Summary |
Conacent Consulting Private Limited, based in India, offers Oracle e-business suite and cloud implementation and consultancy services. Oracle, based in Redwood City, California, is a computer technology corporation widely known for its software and services such as Java. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Conacent faced the challenging decision of either reducing the number of employees or retaining them. Another challenge was the continuation of existing projects, which required onsite presence of support staff in remote locations away from their hometowns. One option was to withdraw from such projects, but that would lead to problems for clients, damage to the credibility of Conacent, and loss of future business prospects from those clients. Students will learn how Conacent addressed these challenges and analyze whether the company made the correct decisions to protect its business interests |
