Notes Maila D.H. Rahiem is an Associate Professor at department of Early Childhood Education, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Indonesia, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at School of Graduate Research, Central Queensland University, Australia. Her research interests include child and adolescent well-being, resilience studies, disaster education, research methods, narrative research and pedagogy, and culture and value in education. Maila received a Visiting Professor award from Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, in 2022 for delivering seminars on students' motivation despite pandemic proclivity; a Fulbright Visiting Scholar award from the University of South Florida, USA, in 2019-2020 for research in the field of social work; and an award from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, Indonesia, in 2022 for the academic with the most articles in recognized and high-impact journals. She received her PhD in education from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a master's degree in education from McGill University in Canada, and a bachelor's degree in education from Universitas Negeri Jakarta in Indonesia.Maila serves as an editor for several reputable journals
