Summary A Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) is a requirement for all significant development applications within the Armstrong Creek Town Centre. A SMP documents how the proposed development will respond to the objectives and guidelines detailed in the in the Armstrong Creek Town Centre Precinct Structure Plan and provides a key tool in facilitating the delivery of innovative and sustainable development. The City of Greater Geelong has created the Armstrong Creek Town Centre Guide to Preparing a Sustainability Management Plan as a practical guide for both developers and the community. Each guideline is numbered to reference the Armstrong Creek Town Centre Precinct Structure Plan and assist the user. The SMP must be prepared to the satisfaction of the Responsible Authority by a suitably qualified expert
