Summary
HIV is having a devastating effect on the world of work. With 33.2 million people worldwide now living with the virus (AIDS epidemic update, UNAIDS, 2007), the impact of the epidemic is being felt at all levels. This report gives an insight into the overall SHARE (Strategic HIV/AIDS Responses in Enterprises) programme, which has now been running for five years. SHARE is about making the tripartite response to HIV a reality, and this second report seeks to acknowledge the fine work carried out by ministries of labour, employers, workers and their organizations
