| Summary |
Fern's pet pig Wilbur knows that he has a limited life expectancy on the farm, and unless something miraculous happens, he will eventually become someone's dinner. Charlotte, a friendly spider that lives in his pen, hatches a plan to make Wilbur seem special enough to save by weaving messages about the 'terrific' pig into her web, and she soon persuades her barnyard friends to join in on her plan.
